2-1-1 Texas/United Way Helpline
2-1-1 Texas is a
free, easy-to-remember phone number connecting callers with
health and human services in their area. No matter where you
live in Texas, you can call and get referrals to services
available in your community.
United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast
A local
non-profit voluntary organization that works to meet health and
human service needs in Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Waller

Harris County Hospital District Gold Card
Based
on your household income, you may qualify to receive full or
partial financial assistance for medical care. For information,
call 713-463-3691.
Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services (ECHOS)
Provides referral services to low-income, medically underserved
residents. Provides on-site health screenings, HIV and sickle
cell testing, vision screening and assistance with Gold Card,
food stamps and health education. For information, call

Easter Seals
Provides services for people with
disabilities and their families. For information, call

Shriners Hospitals
Your children may be eligible
to receive free medical care or services at a Shriners Hospital
if they are under the age of 18 and there is a reasonable
