As a contracted provider with Texas Children's Health Plan, we invite you to join us at events and explore training opportunities. These are available throughout the year and give providers the opportunity to learn about health plan and healthcare changes and updates.

Provider Advisory Group (PAG)

Join Our Provider Advisory Group (PAG)

Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) invites you to join our Provider Advisory Group. Dates are based on Service Delivery Area. Click here if you are not sure of your Service Delivery Area. Sessions will be held online as a Microsoft Teams event.

Event dates for the upcoming sessions:

  • Tuesday, June 18, 2024 Northeast SDA
  • Thursday, June 20,2024 Jefferson SDA
  • Tuesday, June 25, 2024 Harris SDA

All sessions will be from 12:00-1:30PM CST

What to Expect: Our Provider Advisory Group (PAG) will be a town hall for all network providers in each SDA for TCHP to present on important topics. You will have an opportunity to receive updates quarterly and provide feedback to TCHP on healthcare industry topics and learn more about your TCHP resources. PAG session participants include Texas Children’s Health Plan Providers and staff. We value your opinion and are looking forward to hearing from you! An agenda will be sent to all registrants in advance.

CME Mental Health Resources

Recognizing Adolescents Struggling with Mental Health

During this course, providers will gain various tools and resources that will help recognize and analyze mental health struggles in adolescent patients, while also ensuring that they receive the best care.

Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of the lecture, the participants should be better able to:

  • Recognize adolescents with depression and suicidality.
  • Formulate comprehensive management plans, including pharmacologic intervention.
  • Identify risk behaviors that impact adolescent behavioral health.
  • Discuss the impact of social determinants of health (SDOH) on adolescent behavioral health. (BH).

Paying Attention to ADHD: Diagnosis, Treatment & Resources

The objective of this CME is to cover diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, community support and resources, pharmacy navigation with the state formulary and the Child Psychiatry Access Network.
