Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a digital care management platform that automatically tracks and validates home healthcare visits in real-time. EVV captures precise visit timing, service delivery, and caregiver presence to ensure accurate billing and quality care. This system modernizes healthcare operations by eliminating manual paperwork and providing instant compliance reporting for providers, families, and regulatory agencies.
Texas requires EVV for certain Medicaid-funded home and community-based services provided through the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and managed care organizations.
