Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers that effective August 1, 2026, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will remove benefit information about valoctocogene roxaparvovec-rvox (Roctavian) from the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual (TMPPM), Outpatient Drug Services Handbook. TMHP will make this change because the drug is no longer available on the market.

Next step for providers: Providers should share this information with their staff.
