1099 Important Update

Attention: All Providers

Call to action: Providers should be aware that Texas Children’s 1099 process is different for 2025, and providers should expect to receive two separate 1099 forms:

• Providers who were paid 1/1/2024 through 2/19/2024 from Change Healthcare will receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) for those payments.
• Providers will also receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) for payments made from 2/20/2024 through 12/31/2024.
• TCHP 1099s should be received prior to the TCH one.

Next step for providers: Providers should contact their Provider Relations Liaison or Account Lead if they are not received by Friday, February 14th. Click here to access their contact information.
