Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers of upcoming changes from the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) affecting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) submitter accounts.
Inactive EDI Submitter Accounts – Effective December 1, 2026
Effective December 1, 2026, TMHP will deactivate EDI submitters that have not accessed their EDI submitter account since November 30, 2025.
Providers and EDI submitters should review their account activity and take appropriate action, if needed, before December 1, 2026.
New EDI Trading Partner Agreement – Required by May 15, 2027
TMHP will also require all EDI submitters to complete a new EDI Trading Partner Agreement by May 15, 2027, as part of efforts to enhance the security of submitter accounts. The new agreement will be available beginning December 1, 2026 and must be submitted electronically through the TMHP website.
Important: TMHP will deactivate EDI submitter accounts that do not have an updated EDI Trading Partner Agreement by May 15, 2027. Depending on provider type, TMHP may also require additional forms, which will be available for electronic submission through the TMHP website.
