NEW Behavioral Health Toolkits online

Date: March 26, 2025

Attention: Behavioral Health Providers

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan’s (TCHP) behavioral health workgroup is proud to present new online resources for our providers. In particular, we would like to point out two new tool kits to help with proper documentation, resources, and best practices to promote the best possible health outcomes for your patients, our members. Click on the links below to open each tool kit.

Follow-Up After Emergency Department Visit for Substance Use (FUA)

Follow-Up After Emergency Department Visit for Mental Illness (FUM)

UPDATED: Follow-up Care for Children Prescribed ADHD Medication (ADD-E)

This tool kit includes information on the healthy rewards program, exclusive for TCHP. Additionally, it includes how you can help newly diagnosed members manage their ADHD medication and earn a reward.

Next step for Providers: Providers should review and follow the guidance found in the Behavioral Health tool kits and share them with their staff. When applicable, action should be taken to implement the recommendations into the practice operations.
