Zelis: TCHP's New Payment Provider

Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) will transition to a new payment vendor, Zelis, beginning August 2026. This change will apply to all providers and includes electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments, virtual credit cards (VCC) and paper checks. 

What this means for providers:

• Providers can continue receiving payments in their current preferred format (EFT or paper checks).
• The transition is designed to enhance efficiency without disrupting existing workflows.

Key benefit:

• TCHP will increase its claims payment cadence from once weekly to twice weekly, helping improve payment timeliness and cash flow for providers.

Consider Switching to Electronic Payments

3. After submitting your request, you will receive an email within 24–48 hours from help@epayment.center with next steps to complete enrollment
