SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.
Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

New Procedure Codes Available for Evoked Response Tests and Neuromuscular

Effective Date: July 1, 2021Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: Beginning July 1, 2021, Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) procedure codes 92652 and 92653 (for evoked response tests and neuromuscular), will become available for audiologists, portable X-ray suppliers, radiological and physiological laboratory providers who render laboratory services to Texas Medicaid clients.
How this impacts providers: Claims submitted with dates of service from January 1, 2021, through June 8, 2021, may be reprocessed. Providers are not required to appeal the claims unless they are denied for additional reasons after the claims reprocessing is complete. When claims are reprocessed, providers may receive additional payment, which will be reflected on Remittance and Status (R&S) Reports.
