Transportation UpdateActualización de transporte
Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Effective Date: November 15, 2021Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will publish and have an effective date of the EVV Visit Maintenance Unlock Request updates to the EVV webpage on November 15, 2021. The updates were made to ensure required fields are included on the spreadsheets, to create a new request spreadsheet for Consumer Directed Services employers who select Option 1 on Form 1722 and to make the spreadsheets more user friendly. TCHP utilizes HHSC’s spreadsheet templates for the requests.
