Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Procedure Codes J1271 & 90661 to Become Benefits for HHSC Family Planning Program Services

Effective date: May 1, 2026

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers that effective May 1, 2026, physician-administered drug procedure code J1271 and vaccine administration procedure code 90661 will be benefits for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Family Planning Program (FPP).

How this impacts providers: Procedure codes J1271 and 90661 will be available for clients of all ages.
