Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

Important Information for Checks Dated February 27, 2024

Attention: All Providers

Call to action: As noted in our Provider Alert dated February 26, 2024, Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) has activated an alternative payment process that will be in effect until Optum’s Change Healthcare process is restored.  The referenced alert is available here.

How this impacts providers: Errors have been identified in the checks dated and mailed February 27, 2024. Please do not deposit these checks and destroy them when received. Checks dated February 27, 2024 have been voided and corrected checks will be reissued and mailed on Monday March 4, 2024.

Please note, only checks dated February 27, 2024 have been voided. All other checks from Texas Children’s have been validated and can be deposited.

Next step for Providers: Providers should follow the instructions outlined here regarding checks dated February 27, 2024 and be on the lookout for reissued checks coming soon.
