Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

Therapy Wait List

Subject:  Therapy Providers Effective 1/15/2018, HHSC formally required MCOs to report on access issues specific to all therapy modalities (PT, OT, ST). In the future, if Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) should receive a member complaint specific to access to care, TCHP will follow-up with each therapy provider. If a wait list is identified, each provider will be required to submit detailed information for each member waiting for care. The information will need to be populated in a specified template, and the document can be obtained by contacting tchpproviderconcerns@tchp.us. Also periodically, TCHP will be conducting a review of all therapy providers to assess if there are any TCHP members awaiting therapy services. If a wait list is identified, the template will be provided for completion.
