Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: We previously communicated to you that claims with a submission date prior to August 1, 2022 were not available to you in Texas Children’s Link, the new provider portal platform.
Good news, we now have a solution for you! These claims will be accessible on Texas Children’s Link beginning Thursday, January 26,2022.
How this impacts providers: To access the claims follow these steps:
1. Select External Sites from the homepage top menu bar
2. Select TCHP Provider Tools
3. Select Legacy Claims from the menu and follow the prompts to locate information about your claim.
Next steps for providers: Providers should share this communication with their billing staff.
