Transportation UpdateActualización de transporte
Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Update to Renal Dialysis Revenue Codes Eligible for Reimbursement

Effective Date: March 23, 2021Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to make network providers aware of updates for some of the renal dialysis revenue codes.
How this impacts providers: The revenue codes that are no longer reimbursable include the following:
250, 252, 254, 255, 257, 258, 259, 260, 264, 270, 271, 272, 360, 361, 370, 390, 410, 450, 510, 516, 710, 721, 761, 762, 769, 515 for dialysis claims.
This is for both Renal Dialysis and Hospital providers.
Next steps for providers: Providers should make their billing staff aware of these changes to reimbursable revenue codes.
