Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Coming Soon: Texas Children’s Health Plan Website Enhancements

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) is excited to announce upcoming enhancements to the For Providers portion of our website. In the coming weeks, you will have an improved online experience. The updates will further enhance the Providers section of the website to be a one-stop shop for updates, resources, Provider Alerts, and events. The updates include the migration of TheCheckup.org and changes to the layout and navigation as described below.

Enhancements to the website include:

  • Streamlined content: The content of TheCheckup.org will move to our main website, texaschildrenshealthplan.org/providers. Provider Alerts will be accessible from our Providers landing page menu. By moving our Provider Alerts from a separate website to our main website, the content will be more readily available, allowing providers to find the resources and information they need efficiently.
  • Enhanced navigation: The navigation and page design will have a new look and feel to help improve the user experience.

Next step for providers: Providers should share this update with their staff.
