Reimbursement Rate Updates for Medical Transportation Program Procedure Code S0215

Effective date: July 1, 2026

Call to action: The purpose of this communication is to inform providers that effective for dates of service on or after July 1, 2026, reimbursement rates for medical transportation program (MTP) procedure code S0215 have been updated for Texas Medicaid.

How this impacts providers: The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will reprocess any affected claims that are identified. Providers are not required to appeal the claims unless they are denied for additional reasons after reprocessing is completed.
