Transportation UpdateActualización de transporte
Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Appealing Legacy Claims within our Provider Portal, Texas Children’s Link

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers utilizing Texas Children’s Link, our online provider portal, how to access and appeal legacy claims within this platform. Legacy Claims are defined as claims with a submission date prior to August 1, 2022.
Click here for the steps to access and appeal legacy claims. We hope this option improves your daily operations and makes the claims reconciliation process much easier.
Background information: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) migrated completely from our old provider portal, Health Trio, to our new provider portal, Texas Children’s Link on January 1st, 2023. In addition, TCHP created a legacy claim look up tool so users still have the ability to review claims submitted prior to August 1, 2022.
Next steps for providers: Providers should share this communication with their billing staff.
