SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

GED Certificate Reward

A GED certificate provides more employment and education opportunities, and Texas Children’s Health Plan wants to help you covering the cost of taking this big step towards your future!

Reward card for up to $145. Amount will be based on the number of subjects completed ($36.25 per subject).

How do I claim my extra benefit?

Click on the “Redeem” button below to enter your information, GED test results and proof of payment in order to receive your reward card in the mail.

Who is eligible?

CHIP, STAR and STAR Kids members ages 17 years and older who took the GED test during the eligible year (September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022).

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris, Jefferson and Northeast service areas.
