Updates to Texas Children’s® Link Claim Submission Forms

Date: October 10, 2024

Attention: All Providers

Background information: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers of updates made to the Claims Submission Forms on our provider portal, Texas Children’s® Link. The updates were made to ensure claims are processed more accurately and efficiently.

How this impacts providers:
There have been two changes to Texas Children’s® Link Claim Submission Forms as shown below.

  1. We have removed the “Override Restrictions” check box within the Encounter Information Section due to an increase of denied claims for manually inputted information.
    1. If a place of service is not available to select, please submit a change request to our Contracting team via Cobblestone Gateway, TCHP’s Contracting platform.
    2. If a provider is not available to select, please submit a new provider add or contact your Provider Relations Liaison regarding a provider not showing up.

  1. For ambulance claims, we have added an “Ambulance Information” section for both Claim-level and Services-Line level.
