Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Correction to Cytogenetics Testing Diagnosis Codes in 2024 ICD-10

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers that a correction has been made to the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP)2024 International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Edition (ICD-10) Special Bulletin for cytogenetics testing for Texas Medicaid and the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program.

The Cytogenetics Testing table incorrectly listed C2388 as an added diagnosis code. The correct diagnosis code is Q2388.

Next step for providers: Providers should share this communication with their staff.
