PEMS Instructions for Updating an Existing Address Now Available

Date: May 8, 2025

Attention: Providers

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to notify providers that a new training resource for updating an existing address in the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS) is now available.

How to access the training: Providers can access the Update an Existing Address Job Aid on the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership’s (TMHP’s) Learning Management System (LMS) website.
Users must have a username and password to access training in the LMS. To obtain a username and password, providers must create an account by clicking Don’t have an account? Sign up here on the LMS homepage.

How this impacts providers: The training explains how to update addresses in PEMS if the information is incorrect or if the practice location has moved. Providers must follow all steps in the training to ensure that they meet all the requirements to successfully update their addresses as needed.

Next step for Providers: Providers are advised to log into TMHP’s Learning Management System and complete the training for clarity with any questions or concerns that they have with updating their practice addresses in PEMS.
