UPDATE: Launch of Zelis, New Payment Vendor, has been Postponed

Date: March 2, 2026

Attention: Providers

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We previously shared that Zelis, the new payment vendor for Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP), was scheduled to launch in April 2026. We want to let you know that this launch has been postponed. TCHP would like to address some additional items prior to moving forward with onboarding to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for our providers and partners.

Please be assured that your current payment method will remain in place and will not be interrupted. Once the updated launch timeline is confirmed, TCHP will provide comprehensive onboarding instructions, including the specific steps you will need to take to ensure you continue receiving timely payments.

Both TCHP and Zelis will offer dedicated support throughout the onboarding process, so assistance will be readily available should you need any help.

Please look for further communication on this topic from your assigned Provider Relations Liaison or Account Lead. It will also be published here, https://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/providers/provider-news/provider-alerts.
