Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Select an EVV Vendor System or EVV Proprietary System Update

Attention: Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSA)Effective Date: May 1, 2020Due to impacts of coronavirus, HHSC is extending the deadline to May to select an EVV system and begin the onboarding process. The original deadline was April 1,2020. Therefore, Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs) must select an Electronic Visit Verification or EVV Vendor System or EVV Proprietary System by May 1, 2020. How this impacts providers: All FMSAs currently contracted with MCOs or the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).   Next steps for providers: If you’re a program provider or financial management services agency subject to 21st Century Cures Act Electronic Visit Verification requirements, you must select an EVV system by May 1. To select an EVV system:  
  1. Choose to use an EVV vendor system or your own EVV proprietary system.
  2. Submit the appropriate form to begin the onboarding process.
