SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

Call to action: Below is information from the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) regarding the Comprehensive Hospital Increase Reimbursement Program (CHIRP), the Directed Payment Program for Behavioral Health Services (DPP BHS), the Rural Access to Primary and Preventive Services (RAPPS) and the Texas Incentives for Physicians and Professional Services (TIPPS). Please find information below on the upcoming reporting period (October 10 – November 6, 2022) for state fiscal year (SFY) 2023 (year [Y] 2) for CHIRP, DPP BHS, RAPPS and TIPPS.   • HHSC will notify participating providers when the reporting companion (instructions for using and submitting the template) and reporting template are posted to the reporting portalBulletin Board by October 10, 2022. HHSC will post a link to the recorded Y2 reporting webinar on the Bulletin Board by October 14, 2022.
