Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to invite providers to attend our upcoming CME - Enhancing Childhood Immunization: Current Recommendations and Best Practices for Optimal Protection on December 11, 2025 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Provided by Texas Children’s Hospital.
Target Audience: Physicians and other health care providers
Objectives:
- Outline the most recent CDC and AAP updates to the childhood immunization schedules, highlighting the recent revisions for MMRV and COVID-19 vaccines and discuss their implications for clinical practice.
- Utilize the "Ask, Offer, Ask" method, incorporating motivational interviewing techniques, to communicate with vaccine hesitant parents.
- Educate parents on evidence refuting common vaccine misinformation found on social media.
