Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to invite providers to attend our upcoming CME - Enhancing Childhood Immunization: Current Recommendations and Best Practices for Optimal Protection on December 11, 2025 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Provided by Texas Children’s Hospital.

Target Audience: Physicians and other health care providers

Objectives:

  1. Outline the most recent CDC and AAP updates to the childhood immunization schedules, highlighting the recent revisions for MMRV and COVID-19 vaccines and discuss their implications for clinical practice.
  2. Utilize the "Ask, Offer, Ask" method, incorporating motivational interviewing techniques, to communicate with vaccine hesitant parents.
  3. Educate parents on evidence refuting common vaccine misinformation found on social media.
