Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Requirements for Additional CDS Services

Attention: Financial Management Services Agency (FMSAs) Providers and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Employers

Effective August 1, 2026, Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs) and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers must comply with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) claims matching requirements for the CDS services listed below.

Beginning with dates of service on or after August 1, 2026, claims for these services must have a matching EVV visit record. Claims submitted without a corresponding EVV visit match will be denied payment.

CDS Services Added

• Primary Home Care (PHC) Personal Attendant Services (PAS) – Level 1 (Non-Priority) – CDS (Service Group 7, Service Code 17V, HCPCS G0718) to the Claims Management System (CMS) Long-term Care (LTC) Fee-For Service (FFS) section.
• Family Care (FC) AGENCY ADMIN – PAS FC CDS (Service Group 7, Service Code 17CV, HCPCS G0747) to the CMS LTC FFS section.
• Community Attendant Services (CAS) PAS CDS-AGENCY (Service Group 7, Service Code 17DV, HCPCS G0750) to the CMS LTC FFS section.
