Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

EVV Compliance Grace Period Ends December 31

Date: October 15, 2024

Attention: Program providers, financial management services agencies and CDS employers

Effective date: January 1, 2025 for EVV Usage Reviews
 

Call to action: Effective January 1, 2025, the payers, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and Texas Children’s Health Plan, will begin EVV Usage reviews to ensure state-required personal care services and home health care services, are in compliance with EVV requirements and policies.

How this impacts providers: Payers will begin contract or enforcement action for dates of service on or after Jan. 1, 2025, for program providers, financial management services agencies and CDS employers who do not meet EVV compliance requirements for EVV Usage and home phone landline reviews.

Next step for Providers: Providers should adhere to the compliance requirements and reference the EVV Policy Handbook for more information about the grace period.
