New Login Process for All Texas Medicaid Providers Through TMHP IAMOnline and Provider MFA Registration for Transition Release 4 Effective date: August 24, 2026

Date: July 9, 2026

Attention: Providers

Call to action: Texas children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform providers that effective August 24, 2026, the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) will add new applications to the TMHP IAMOnline platform. These changes will continue the transition to TMHP IAMOnline as the entry point for accessing applications on tmhp.com. TMHP IAMOnline manages user authentication and authorization to provide a secure, single-entry point for TMHP applications.

Login Required Every 90 Days

  • Important:Effective August 24, 2026, providers must change their password every 90 days and use each application at least once every 90 days to stay active in their TMHP IAMOnline account and My Account.
    • Any applications or TMHP IAMOnline accounts with 90 days of inactivity will be deactivated.
  • Reminders will be sent. Providers will receive emails reminding them to use each application at least once every 90 days, along with contact information to use if access does become deactivated.
    • Reminder emails will be sent to the user after 80, 85, and 89 days of TMHP IAMOnline inactivity and after 80, 85, and 89 days of TMHP application inactivity.
    • If deactivation does occur, the EDI Help Desk will be able to reactivate application access for providers. Restoration of provider access should be immediate. Providers may need to refresh their screens to ensure they have access.

How this impacts providers: TMHP IAMOnline Account Activation

Providers will use their TMHP IAMOnline account to manage services, access resources, and perform essential TMHP-related tasks. To activate their account, providers must:

  • Follow the instructions provided in the TMHP IAMOnline emails to be sent July 7 and August 18.
    • Important: After receiving the July 7 and August 18 emails and activation links, providers will have seven days to activate their account.
    • Providers that do not act on the July 7 and August 18 emails within seven days of receipt must call the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Help Desk at 888-863-3638 to request that the email be resent.
  • Log in to TMHP IAMOnline, set their password, and register for multi-factor authentication (MFA) within seven days of receiving the activation email.

After providers have set up their account, they can access their TMHP IAMOnline My Apps dashboard for applications that have transitioned to TMHP IAMOnline.

Provider MFA Registration

TMHP IAMOnline uses single sign-on and has password self-service capabilities. When they log in to TMHP IAMOnline, Texas Medicaid providers must use multi-factor authentication. Providers will:

  • Register their MFA when they activate their TMHP IAMOnline account.
  • Be automatically enrolled in email-based MFA.
  • Have the option to add Okta Verify or Google Authenticator as additional MFA methods.

To access Okta Verify or Google Authenticator, providers must download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play to their primary mobile device. Providers can set up the account with either a QR code or with a sign-in uniform resource locator (URL).

Portal Applications Being Transitioned in Release 4

Effective August 24, 2026, TMHP will transition the following online portal applications to TMHP IAMOnline:

  • Long-term Care Online Portal (LTCOP)
  • Long-term Care (LTC) Dashboard
  • Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Portal
  • Care Forms

Important: Providers that already have Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) IAMOnline access for the State of Texas Electronic Provider System (STEPS) cost report must still activate their TMHP IAMOnline account to access their TMHP applications.

Next step for Providers: Providers should share this communication with their staff.
