Update: OIG Provider Enrollment Delays

Texas Children's Health Plan (TCHP) is providing an update regarding current processing delays affecting Texas Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) Provider Enrollment Integrity Screenings.

The OIG Provider Enrollment Integrity Screenings team has received an unusually high volume of enrollment applications, resulting in processing delays. As a result, most applications are currently being processed within 90–120 days.

TCHP recognizes the impact these delays may have on providers and is working closely with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and OIG to help minimize disruption. Applications continue to be reviewed in the order received, and OIG is actively addressing the backlog.

TCHP will share additional updates as more information becomes available.
