Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Updated Texas Health Steps Quick Reference Guide Now Available

Call to action: This communication is to inform providers that Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) published the updated Texas Health Steps Quick Reference Guide (QRG) on the Texas Health Steps web page on December 1, 2025. In the table titled “Immunizations Administered,” the following vaccines are added:

Chikungunya (procedure code 90593)

Meningococcal (procedure code 90624)

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) (procedure code 90382)
