Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

  • GED Training Reward Card- Members who obtain a GED certificate from a qualified organization can receive a reward card for up to $145 (or $36.25 per subject), depending on the number of subjects needed to complete the test.
  • Good Grades Reward Card- Members in 6th – 12th grade with all A’s and B’s can get a $25 reward card per semester (maximum of 2 rewards per regular school year).
  • School Attendance Reward Card- Members between the ages of 5 – 13 with perfect attendance, as defined by their school district, can get a $25 reward card per semester (maximum of 2 rewards per regular school year).
How this impacts providers: Providers should encourage members to take advantage of the Extra benefits/VAS that will help them.
