Attention: Behavioral Health Providers   Effective Date: Survey is available until November 21, 2020Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event.  TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.Call to action: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) would like to inform network Behavioral Health providers of a recent survey the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hosting on behalf of The Statewide Behavioral Health Coordinating Council (SBHCC). The SBHCC wants to learn what people think about the way behavioral health services and supports are provided in Texas.  The survey responses will help them update the Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan.  The SBHCC is seeking input from people who have used behavioral health services in Texas, their families/caregivers, providers, and service agencies and organizations. Survey responses are anonymous and the survey is available in English and Spanish. Here is a link to the survey. Survey Flyers: Behavioral Health Services SurveyHow this impacts providers: Providers that participate in the survey have the opportunity to share their opinions on the Behavioral Health care available in Texas and potentially enhance the services offered in the future. Next steps for providers: Behavioral Health providers are encouraged to complete the SBHCC Survey by the deadline of November 21, 2020. Here is a link to the survey.
