Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

Call to action: Providers should be aware that Texas Children’s 1099 process is different for 2025, and providers should expect to receive two separate 1099 forms:
Providers who were paid 1/1/2024 through 2/19/2024 from Change Healthcare will receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) for those payments.
Providers will also receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) for payments made from 2/20/2024 through 12/31/2024.
TCHP 1099s should be received prior to the TCH one.
