Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

1099 Important Update

Date: February 4, 2025

Attention: All Providers

Call to action: Providers should be aware that Texas Children’s 1099 process is different for 2025, and providers should expect to receive two separate 1099 forms:

  • Providers who were paid 1/1/2024 through 2/19/2024 from Change Healthcare will receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) for those payments.
  • Providers will also receive a 1099 issued by Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) for payments made from 2/20/2024 through 12/31/2024.
  • TCHP 1099s should be received prior to the TCH one.
