Go Live Month Announced for Launch of Zelis, New Payment Vendor

Date: November 25, 2025

ATTENTION PROVIDERS: Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) is excited to announce that Zelis will premiere as our new payment vendor in April of 2026.

What does this mean for providers? You will begin receiving direct communication from Provider Relations on what action you need to take, if any. For instance, providers that are currently enrolled with Zelis ACH+ will not have an onboarding procedure. For all others, we are working alongside Zelis to prepare materials so that the conversion process is a smooth one. The onboarding information will include detailed steps that you will need to take in order to continue receiving timely payments. TCHP and Zelis will have assistance available in case you need help with your onboarding procedure.

Previously published communication on this topic is available by clicking here.

Providers can continue receiving their TCHP payments in the existing format, but TCHP encourages providers to elect electronic payment to ensure payments are received as timely as possible. With the new vendor, TCHP will be able to increase claims payments from weekly to bi-weekly.

Next step for Providers: More information on how to prepare and register with Zelis will be available in advance of the start date. Please check here for updates https://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/providers/provider-news/provider-alerts.
