May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Date: May 1, 2025

Attention: All Providers

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health and emotional well-being. At Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP), we are committed to supporting our members’ whole health, recognizing that behavioral health is just as vital as physical health.

To support you in raising awareness within your practice, we’ve gathered a selection of helpful resources and CMEs.

HEDIS Toolkits for Providers

TCHP is proud to offer Healthcare Effectiveness and Data Information Set (HEDIS) Toolkits that contain helpful information regarding the measure requirements, standards and codes to use that are acceptable for HEDIS reporting. These toolkits will serve as a reference form that can be used to code the type of appointments made and ensure that all of the HEDIS standards are met. By using these toolkits, providers can streamline their reporting processes, reduce administrative burden and continue to provide high quality care to our members.

To view all HEDIS Toolkits, visit https://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/providers/provider-resources/hedis-toolkits.

Next steps: Providers are encouraged to share this communication with their staff.
