Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

Starting December 15, 2025, SafeRide Health will become the new provider for all member rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. After this date, Texas Children’s Health Plan will no longer use MTM for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services.

For other questions, please call Member Services at the number on the back of your member ID card.

Good oral health has a great impact on your overall health! Texas Children’s Health Plan dental benefits include two oral exams and cleanings, emergency evaluations, x-rays (bitewings), fillings and routine simple extractions per year.

How do I claim my extra benefit?

Call FCL Dental at 1-866-548-8123 to receive a referral or an appointment with a dental provider.

Who is eligible?

STAR members 21 years and older who are not eligible for Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT).

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris and Jefferson service areas.
