SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

Educational Achievement Reward

The more you learn, the healthier you get! Texas Children’s Health Plan rewards you for keeping perfect school attendance and good grades!

Reward

  • $25 reward card per semester for getting an attendance record of 95% or higher by the end of the school year (Limit of 2 reward cards per school year).
  • $25 reward card per semester for getting a GPA of 3.5 or greater by the end of the school year (Limit of 2 reward cards per school year).

How do I claim my extra benefit?

Click on the “Redeem” button below to enter your information and required documentation for each reward in order to receive your reward card in the mail.

Who is eligible?

CHIP, STAR and STAR Kids members in grades 9th through 12th with perfect school attendance records and/or GPA of 3.5 or greater by the end of the school year.

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris, Jefferson and Northeast service areas.
