    Extracurricular Activity Fee Assistance

    Description:

    Extracurricular activities such as sports, art and music can provide important emotional and physical support for children. We help cover the fee of any extracurricular activity that you sign up for!

    Reward*:

    Reward card for up to $50 when you sign up for any extracurricular activity in a school or community program, such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America or BakerRipley. Limited to the following categories: Sports, exercise classes, camps, educational classes, aquatics, art, reading, music or dance.

    How do I claim my extra benefit?

    Click on the “Redeem” button below to enter your information and submit proof of payment. Texas Children’s Health Plan will confirm your eligibility and you will receive your reward card in the mail.

    Who is eligible?

    CHIP, STAR and STAR Kids members from 5 to 21 years old.

    What service area is this benefit available in?

    Harris, Jefferson, and Northeast service areas.

    *This reward can be requested up to 30 days after the end of the eligible year (September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024) and is limited to one per member, per eligible year.
