SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Portable Crib / Playpen

Description:

Doctors agree that the safest place for a baby to sleep is in their own crib or bassinet. Pregnant members in their third trimester of pregnancy (28-40 weeks or 7-9 months) can request a free portable crib that doubles as a playpen for your baby to sleep in and play safely. To qualify, pregnant members must complete at least one free InJoy class during their pregnancy.

How do I claim my extra benefit?

  1. Log into your MyChart account. New to MyChart? Set up an account here.
  2. Under “Menu”, go to “Resources”
  3. Click on "Healthy Rewards Program" and complete the request form for this reward.  
  4. Click here to view a step-by-step guide on how to request your reward in MyChart.

The portable crib can be requested up to 15 days after the end of the eligible year (September 1, 2025–August 31, 2026).

Who is eligible?

CHIP, STAR, and STAR Kids pregnant members during their third trimester who complete at least one InJoy class during their pregnancy.

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris, Jefferson and Northeast service areas.
