Description:
Doctors agree that the safest place for a baby to sleep is in their own crib or bassinet. Notify Texas Children’s Health Plan of your pregnancy any time during your third trimester (29-40 weeks or 7-9 months) to receive a portable crib that doubles as a playpen for your baby to sleep and play safely in!

How do I claim my extra benefit?

- Under “Menu”, go to “Resources”
- Click on "Healthy Rewards Program" and complete the request form for this reward. Who is eligible for this benefit?
The portable crib can be requested up to 15 days after the end of the eligible year (September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025).
Who is eligible?
CHIP, STAR, and STAR Kids members who notify Texas Children’s Health Plan of their pregnancy any time during their third trimester.
What service area is this benefit available in?
Harris, Jefferson and Northeast service areas.
