Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Según tus necesidades, los servicios de transporte pueden incluir vehículos con elevador para sillas de ruedas, camionetas con camilla, minivans o camionetas ambulatorias. Por favor, informa a SRH qué tipo de transporte necesitas al programar tu traslado.

Flu Prevention Reward

Description: 

A flu vaccine during your pregnancy is safe and protects you and your baby (during your pregnancy and even for months after birth) when your baby is too young to get vaccinated.

Reward*: 

$25 reward card when you get a flu vaccine during your pregnancy.

How do I claim my extra benefit? 

Follow this process after getting the flu vaccine during your pregnancy: 

  1. Log into your MyChart account. New to MyChart? Set up an account here
  2. Under “Menu”, go to “Resources”
  3. Click on "Healthy Rewards Program" and complete the request form for this reward.
  4. Click here to view a step-by-step guide on how to request your reward in MyChart.

* This reward can be requested up to 30 days after the end of the eligible year (September 1, 2025–August 31, 2026).

Who is eligible? 

CHIP and STAR members who receive a flu vaccine during their pregnancy. 

What service area is this benefit available in? 

Harris, Jefferson, and Northeast service areas.
