Transportation Update Actualización de transporte

SafeRide Health (SRH) is the new provider for all NEMT rides to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

Depending on your needs, rides may include wheelchair-lift-equipped vehicles, stretcher vans, minivans, or ambulatory vans. Please let SRH know what type of ride you need when scheduling.

SafeRide Health (SRH) es el nuevo proveedor de todos los servicios de transporte médico que no son de emergencia (NEMT, por sus siglas en inglés) hacia consultas médicas y farmacias.

Young Adult Wellness Visit Reward

Description:

Routine checkups help young adults to keep track of their physical and mental health, and Texas Children’s Health Plan rewards you for making sure you develop a healthy lifestyle!

Reward*:

$25 reward card when you complete a yearly wellness visit between the ages of 16 and 21.

How do I claim my extra benefit?

Follow this process after completing a yearly wellness visit:

  1. Log into your MyChart account. New to MyChart? Set up an account here
  2. Under “Menu”, go to “Resources”
  3. Click on "Healthy Rewards Program" and complete the request form for this reward.
  4. Click here to view a step-by-step guide on how to request your reward in MyChart.

* This reward can be requested up to 30 days after the end of the eligible year (September 1, 2025–August 31, 2026)

Who is eligible?

CHIP, STAR, and STAR Kids members who complete a yearly wellness visit between the ages of 16 and 21.

What service area is this benefit available in?

Harris, Jefferson, and Northeast service areas.
